Trashion is a project by Dutch designer Alba Tijm and focuses on the education of the negative impacts of the fast fashion industry and modern slavery.

Tijm started Trashion as an interactive exhibition at 107 in Redfern, sponsored by The City Of Sydney in January 2022. This exhibit displayed graphic photos and information on the negative impacts of the fast fashion industry together with a collection made entirely of materials found on the streets of Sydney, dyed with handmade natural dyes alongside events such a donation based sewing classes, documentary screenings and a clothes swap.

Going forward Trashion will stay a two part organisation.

A small label of clothes made from street bounty and dyed with hand made natural dyes.

And an organisation that focuses on educating people on the negative impacts of the fast fashion industry through interactive events and art installations.
